10 Things in Sports We’re Thankful for This Thanksgiving

#Blessed

As we wake on the morning of Thanksgiving, we should remember the things in sports that we ultimately should be thankful for...despite how much frustration they cause us at times. The zebra outfits that referees wear......which reminds us of how thankful we are for actual zebras, majestic animals that are somehow less unpredictable than referees.“Get back” coaches…...which reminds us of how thankful we are for those people in our lives who literally have our backs.New Balance shoes and white tube socks…...which reminds us of how thankful we are for hard-working fathers. Aaron Rodgers......who reminds us of how thankful we are for hard-working scientists. The kids who clean sweat spots during timeouts on the basketball court......who reminds us of how thankful we are to those who keep their work areas clean. Orange Slices…...which reminds us of how thankful we are for fruit and snacks in general.  Kyrie Irving…....again, scientists, are so important. Thank you.Mike Breen saying “BANG”......which reminds us of how thankful we are for sound effects that we never knew we needed. Seventh-inning stretches......which reminds us of how thankful we are for scheduled bathroom breaks. That there are other football games on today besides this fucking Bears vs. Lions game......something I think we can all be thankful for. Happy Thanksgiving.
